BROKEN FEMUR
On the 22nd of July, we were in the midst of a family reunion when we experienced a traumatic incident. The youngest member of the family, Ty, fell from a zipline, approximately 12 feet above the ground with a great measure of force. Unfortunately, the rope got caught in the platform, and stopped the pulley dead, resulting in a harsh landing and broken femur. This accident, coupled with Luke's broken toe and another cousins broken hand made for a eventful week. Ty was rushed by ambulance to the Medicine Hat Hospital where he underwent surgery, and the first steps to recovery. He is now at home and has been blessed to be able to sing with the family at a few venues. In spite of the overwhelming situation, the Lord has intervened and provided both physical and spiritual healing for Ty. We as a family feel blessed as the injury could have resulted in a much more serious outcome. Thank you for your continual prayers. God is great, and it is our prayer that He will use this for His honour and glory. |

We were blessed to have spent the past weekend in Malta, Montana with many of our friends, The Daae family, Amundruds, The Rawlings Brothers, and privileged to meet some new friends such as the Kyle family, theWaddingtons, and Mr. Girard. God's presence was evidently in attendance throughout the weekend's entirety through the stories, and music that were shared. We would like to thank Duane Murray and John Koss for inviting us, and his great hospitality.

It's that time of year! Seeding has rapidly approached and we are ready for another farming season. We would like to ask for prayer during this hectic time of our life. Prayer not only for safety and for peace of heart, but also that the Lord's will may be done in our lives. It can be stressful at times and most of us operate on little sleep. We thank the Lord for the opportunity to be stewards of His land.

Another Manitoba tour has come and gone! What a pleasure it was for us to sing there yet again! We were blessed to have spent our first three days with Stephen Hill, a singer/songwriter who has been featured on The Gaither Homecoming television series. It was a blessing to hear how the Lord has used Stephen to minister all throughout the continent. His authentic relationship with the Lord was evident, something we as a family find greatly encouraging. A special thanks to Wayne Unrau for all his hard work in making this event happen. We would also like to thank all those who fed us and put us up for the night. You've become very special to us! Thank you to the Andersons for your hospitality and for organizing the Ashern event!
