Right from a little boy Brock looked at the world differently than most people. Things haven’t changed much over the years! Whether it was pretending to be a flying teddy bear, or devising impeccable inventions such as the Lamborghini/tractor/hovercraft, finding unending sustenance in marsh-mellows, or trying to make smoke bombs in houses, there has been no shortage of adventure in Brock’s life or with those surrounding him. No one would have been able to guess that the little boy who found more pleasure in doing spread eagles on the ice and waving to his family and friends during games would end up making the AAA midget Swift Current Legionnaires and go on to play junior hockey. Brock’s junior career would take him from Drumheller, Alberta to Ft. McMurray, Alberta and back to Kindersley, Saskatchewan spanning over 2 years. Brock developed into a player who at times quarterbacked the power play and at other times would drop the gloves to defend teammates. Hockey, life and relationships has brought about many various ups and downs over the last few years of Brocks life, but through them all, God has been at work. Brock is our card, our mechanic, our tenderhearted hugger....and...what?!? ...our bass?? (as long as we can keep him on stage instead of wandering the crowd during concerts!)Despite all the fun, Brock knows that there is a Savior who dies for us and gives us life...Abundantly!
